Time for the honesty. Honestly? 

I don't like to be honest. I lie all the time. 

Ironic. I don't like lots of people. 

I like to be secret about everything in my life. 

I want others to stay out of it and leave it to me. 

I'm socially dependent on others but hate their presence. 

Honestly, I think I live a great life. Its about to change big time and I'm excited and scared for that. 

Honestly, I could not be more excited about becoming a totally different person in college. 

Honestly, I'm sick of 81% of the people in this area. 

Honestly, I think I'm in denial of being lazy and I cannot do anything about it. 

Honestly, I am scared that my laziness will only get worse in college. 

Honestly, I wish I could change everyone's minds for the better.

Honestly, I feel like nobody shares the same thoughts as me. 

Honestly, I am scared/excited for what is to come.

Brainwashed

Brainwashed. Everyone is brainwashed. You were brainwashed as a child. That word sounds so harsh but in most cases is trying to be beneficial to the people that are getting brainwashed. Why? Parents, friends, tv, etc. Everyone is trying to persuade you into thinking something they want you to think. Why do you think 99.37 percent of children grow up to believe in the same religion as their parents? Because the parents showed them a variety of religions and they just so happened to choose theirs? NO. Because you're told whats "right" from an early age so you don't even question it. Why is that? Wouldn't parents want their children to figure it out on their own? Its a crazy society we live in. Friends brainwash their friends so they'll think something. Ex: I told my friend that I thought this girl we met wasn't that cute so he'd stay away from her. Ex: I brainwash myself to get myself to do homework. Isn't it crazy to think that if you were born to another family with the exactly same brain and body, that you could actually grow up thinking the complete polar opposite idea to something? Craziness.

We're all brainwash. It's not good nor healthy. Let your friends, family, and children learn things for themselves and support what they think. Don't live your life without it's full capacity!

College

What is college for? Social or mental?

Social.

Naaa depends on the person. I'd like to say both but you really can't get an entirety of both at the same time. You Have option A or option B. Simple as that. Which one are you? Do I enjoy college and possibly jeopardize the ability to get a better job or do I live it to the fullest and have no regrets and meet people I can love the rest of my life?

Call to Adventure

I boy walks down the street with his new girlfriend. They talk about their love life and what they expect from each other in the relationship. They're 20 and 19 years old. He met her parents but she's never met his. One day she finds out she is pregnant. The boy drops out of the honors college and gets a job to try and support the child. He ends up winning the lottery. Control

If two people meet or come together, one is in control. You can't both be in control, nor neither be in control. It's either one or the other. This sucks. No multiple people can work as a whole. It just doesn't work like that. Their are 2 different minds and no matter what they cannot be the same idea. 

Business/marriage/etc Nothing can be equal in control.

3 things to stop doing to yourself

1. Stop spending time with the wrong people. – Life is too short to spend time with people who suck the happiness out of you.  If someone wants you in their life, they’ll make room for you.  You shouldn’t have to fight for a spot.  Never, ever insist yourself to someone who continuously overlooks your worth.  And remember, it’s not the people that stand by your side when you’re at your best, but the ones who stand beside you when you’re at your worst that are your true friends.
2. Stop running from your problems. – Face them head on.  No, it won’t be easy.  There is no person in the world capable of flawlessly handling every punch thrown at them.  We aren’t supposed to be able to instantly solve problems.  That’s not how we’re made.  In fact, we’re made to get upset, sad, hurt, stumble and fall.  Because that’s the whole purpose of living – to face problems, learn, adapt, and solve them over the course of time.  This is what ultimately molds us into the person we become.
3. Stop being idle. – Don’t think too much or you’ll create a problem that wasn’t even there in the first place.  Evaluate situations and take decisive action.  You cannot change what you refuse to confront.  Making progress involves risk.  Period!  You can’t make it to second base with your foot on first.

Getting the GRADE

Why do we focus so much on getting good grades? College right? Wrong.

No I lied.. Its college. THATS IT.

Why can't colleges outgrow the grading system? It will eventually fail in my opinion. High schools want to be known as great, teachers want to be known as great. How else do people portray that they're great? Giving good grades. I see it already where its getting easier and easier to get good grades because everyone wins. Hopefully one day we can just go to a college interview and they ask you a series of questions to decide if your just a ball of good grades or if their is something behind that. 

Courage

What is a fear?

Oh it's what everyone circles their lives around... Kind of a big deal I guess. If people didn't have fears, their lives would be very different. Why do we let something so stupid control our lives? Something we know will never happen. If we know none of it will realistically come true, why don't we realize the odds an get over it? Its because our minds mess with us. You mind wants you to have fear. Pisses me off.

LIFE and DEATH

TO MANY, LIFE IS THE FEAR OF DEATH.

Death isn't something that happens or something that someone can relate to. It's an idea. An idea that can make or break a person. Many people are controlled by what their mentality of death is. If we can't control death, then why let it control you?

When a person decides they are going to die, and can't do anything about it, they actually will live life differently. Now you may be interpreting this as the cliche "live life like your gonna die tomorrow." This isn't what I'm talking about. There is something to be said abut someone who lives their life subconsciously in the fear of death. Not necessarily thinking of death but anything that could result in danger or out- of the norm. Mainly, afraid of anything they've never encountered or been around. 

Dont let the idea of death control you... DEATH LEADS TO IDEAS, IDEAS LEAD TO FEARS, FEARS LEAD TO CONTROLLING YOUR BRAIN.

 If happiness were sold for a price of your entire life savings would you buy it? Today’s society tells you anything from; “Money is everything” to “money ruins people”, can we find a happy medium? Does tangible money make us happy? Or is the desire of making bank what strive for? Can money control the mind?  What can money make somebody do? Or is happiness the positive cash flow of our lives?

       Why doesn’t society have a set price on how much it would cost to be happy?  The answer is because the desire for money is what gives us the drive to get through the day. The actual money can provide you with a comfort of a more relaxed living, but it cannot provide a goal and motive to get you somewhere new in life. The fact is that if you have no goal set to achieve with your money, then your money just lost half of its value. 

Being rich can be a wonderful thing, but striving to be richer is by far better. Money is a tool for happiness but in itself is not the happiness. Although probably more humble, the poor cannot provide jobs for other people. Whether or not rich  are more selfish people, unintentionally they are providing for others. So what I’m trying to say is that it’s not necessarily the rich gain happiness through their wealth, but they provide chances for others to strive for wealth and gain that happiness.

So let me ask you this; if happiness were sold for your entire life savings, would you make the purchase?  Can happiness be bought?  Does money ruin people? I say the three most precious things in our lives are Love, time, and money. Money is never the most important thing on earth, actually I believe love is, but it just so happens that I love money… J

Do we want change?  

No, not Obama change, real change. Why does everyone feel like we need to change or progress? Because we can't evolve as a person if we don't right? Well what if we don't want to? What if we are perfectly happy as we are. Why would we change that? I think we all have a deep desire to change as a person but many people don't is this why? Because they think they're happy? Bull crap. You don't know if your happy if your not willing to change. This is to all the people who think they're "content" with who they are. #Change

What is Love?

Love is a word we use to describe something we can't. In my opinion there is no such thing as love. We just use the word because we hear it everyday and don't have anything else to describe it. Where is the love? Why do we love? Why do we hear so many damn questions about love? I'll tell you why, because its not real. It's not a specific enough adjective/verb/whatever to be used like we use it. We need to just get specific instead of trying to find answers to this imaginary goal of a word. #Love
